I have taught third and fourth-year commerce students, and second and third-year creative industry students, at Ryerson University. My favourite course to teach is International Business, as there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing students “get it” and start recognizing opportunities beyond Canada—ones that can transform them personally and contribute to Canada’s future success. Additionally, I have taught courses on the Asian Business Environment and the Management of Large Corporations.
As a passionate reviewer for the Journal of Marketing Communications, I am deeply committed to the peer-review process. Having experienced both sides, I value the rigour and integrity that support valid, reliable research. Reviewing cutting-edge studies in my area of expertise keeps me current while allowing me to provide authors with thoughtful analysis and critique. This not only strengthens theory development but also helps generate actionable insights that contribute meaningfully to the field.
I earned a PhD in Management (2014) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Research Methods (2009) from the University of South Australia, with my dissertation titled: “Determining the Effects of Online Reviews on Brand Trust and the Drivers of Customer Equity.” I also hold an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and have completed the Asian International Executive Programme at INSEAD, and the Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy program at MIT.
