Based in Toronto, I bring over 25 years of international experience in sales, marketing, and business development across North America and Asia. I’ve lived and worked in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taipei, leading teams and opening new markets. As Head of Reuters’ Media Business Group in Asia, I oversaw regional sales and service operations, and as General Manager of Reuters’ consumer media business in China, I led the company’s strategic entry into the mainland market, establishing a high-net-worth investor base as the foundation for long-term growth. I also served as Director of Asian News International (ANI) in New Delhi, South Asia’s leading syndicated multimedia news agency.

Early in my career, as Director of Business Development at Reuters Canada, I harnessed the opportunities presented by the rapidly expanding Internet and online financial markets. Prior to that, I co-founded Starfish Systems, launching Canada’s first satellite-delivered real-time weather and market data pricing service for energy and agricultural commodities traders. At Micromedia Limited, I managed FIND/SVP Canada, the country’s first subscriber-based information brokerage service—an integrated research and business intelligence solution that delivered essential insights for decision-making executives.
